Born in Lisbon in 1981, Samuel’s passion for cinema and photography was ignited at a young age, influenced by his father’s love for filmmaking. In 2001, he pursued studies in Cinema, TV, and Cinema Advertising, and began his professional journey in 2003 as a Steadicam assistant. Over the years, Samuel has contributed to a wide range of national and international productions as a Camera, Steadicam, and Trinity operator, working on feature films, commercials, and music videos. More recently, he has been involved in several high-profile projects, including series for Netflix, Synergy, and Shahid, as well as major commercial campaigns.
Committed to continuous learning and technical excellence, Samuel has completed several prestigious training programs, including the Tiffen UCLA Steadicam Workshop (2011), Steadicamp – Steadicam TM – Electronic Gimbal Stabilizers – Support Systems International Workshop in Munich (2016), and the ARRI Certified Training for Trinity 1 & 2 in Munich (2023)
